Indigenous Cultural & Intellectual Property (ICIP) Policy
How we respect, protect and keep control of Indigenous cultural and intellectual property.

1. Recognising ICIP
Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property includes stories, knowledge, artwork, songs, designs, language and cultural expression. ICIP rights stay with the communities and individuals they belong to.
2. Consent and control
We seek free, prior and informed consent before using ICIP, and respect the right of communities to say no or to set conditions on use.
3. Attribution and benefit
We attribute ICIP to its custodians and ensure benefits flow back to community. We do not commercialise ICIP without agreement.
